Calendar Providers

Apple Calendar (macOS) — ✅ Available

No sign-in required — connecting just grants the standard macOS Calendar-access permission prompt. Kshan overlays whatever calendars are visible in the Calendar app (iCloud, Google, Exchange, etc. — there's no separate "which calendars" picker inside Kshan itself). If you turn on two-way sync, new events Kshan creates go to your Mac's default calendar (the one Calendar.app itself files new events into by default), not the merged read view.

This is currently the only calendar integration verified working end-to-end on a live machine.

Google Calendar — 🔜 Coming soon

Connects via a standard Google OAuth sign-in and supports multiple Google accounts at once, each read-only by default. You can flip one connected account to "Read & write" for two-way sync — scheduling a Kshan task also creates a real Google Calendar event, and edits made on the Google side sync back. The feature is built but not yet turned on for everyone; if you try to connect today, you may hit an error at Google's consent screen.

Outlook / Microsoft Calendar — 🔜 Coming soon

Not yet visible in the Integrations tab. It will use Microsoft sign-in (you sign in via a browser window, then copy a short code back into Kshan) and support the same read overlay + optional two-way sync as Google Calendar once released.
